V8 Asia can be used to call overseas from any Vodafone NZ mobile in NZ

	Dial 688
	Enter the PIN number (it's under the scratch panel on the reverse side of your card)
	Enter international destination number in this format: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone Number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)

V8 Asia can also be used to make national and international calls from non-Vodafone mobiles and from landlines

	Dial the local access number for your area
	Enter the PIN number (it's under the scratch panel on the reverse side of your card)
	Enter destination number in this format: Within NZ Area Code + Telephone Number (e.g. 03 123 4567) International 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone Number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)

V8 Asia's not the most cost effective way to make national or international calls from a landline. If you're not making your calls from a Vodafone mobile, take a look at the rest of the Compass range of phone cards to find the one that best suits.





V8 Asia timesavers

You don't want endless numbers to press, no matter how good the rates are, so V8 Asia has a couple of handy timesaving devices for you.

Tell your V8 Asia phone card to remember your mobile phone number
You can tell the V8 Asia service to enter your PIN automatically, every time you dial 688 from your Vodafone mobile.

	Dial 688 from your Vodafone mobile.
	Enter the PIN number (it's under the scratch panel on the reverse side of your card).
	Press * to enter the V8 Asia advanced options menu.
	Select option 2: save your phone card PIN to the number you're calling from.
	Press 1 to automatically use your V8 Asia card when you call 688 from your Vodafone mobile. Next time you dial 688, V8 Asia will remember your V8 Asia PIN, so you'll never have to re-enter it.

Set up V8 Asia speed dial
V8 Asia lets you save your frequently called numbers into its speed dial memory for one-touch dialling.

	Dial 688
	Enter the PIN number (it's under the scratch panel on the reverse side of your card)
	Press * to enter the V8 Asia advanced options menu.
	Select option 3: speed dial.
	Enter the speed dial slot you wish to save, from 0 to 9.
	Enter the international number this speed dial slot should dial in this format: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone Number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)
	When the number is read back to you, press # to confirm it or re-enter the phone number.

	Dial 688
	Enter the PIN number (it's under the scratch panel on the reverse side of your card)
	Enter the speed dial slot that dials the number you're calling and press #.
